Every little detail of this glamorous Palm Springs Wedding is to-die-for! The wine corks, the sequin theme, the rosemary theme, the pop of color in the bouquets… you name it! Every bit glam, every bit chic. Sara from onelove photography captured every detail so beautifully that I could look at this wedding for days! Don’t you agree?
From the bride:
THE COLORS/THEMES/STYLES OF THE DAY:
The venue’s architecture and design is very Tuscan, so we incorporated an Italian element into our event.
Jesi with Jesi Haack Design along with Carissa at JL Designs helped me to come up with the color palette. The colors we chose were navy with lots of fresh greenery and flowers in corals, pinks and nudes. They also incorporated a lot of sequins to bring out the glam effect!
The overall theme was elegant and glamorous with a rustic Italian feel—think lots of fresh greenery draped on tables and hanging from the ceiling of the tent. The tables were all covered in sequin table clothes with gold flatware and plates. The chairs were rustic wood farm style. We laid down white plush carpet throughout the tent to make it feel super elegant! There were two large chandeliers that hung from the ceiling of the tent as well.
We kept the ceremony décor very simple with just some natural greenery draped along the aisles. Guests were served champagne and white wine as they were seated.
The reception was under a tent. We had round tables covered with nude sequin table cloths, golf flatware and plates and a combination of wood and white ceramic vases filled with roses, peonies, pincushions and greenery with candles spread intermittently throughout. The chairs were a rustic wood farm style. From the ceiling of the tent, we hung two beautiful chandeliers which helped to make the space feel warm and elegant. We also hung fresh greenery down the sides of the tent to give it an extra pop and help make the space feel fresh.
Cocktail hour took place in the courtyard immediately following the ceremony. We served appetizers, wine and two signature cocktails: Greyhound (hers) and a Jalepeno Margarita (his). Our jazz quartet played hip hop songs and jazz during this time.
