From Roberts & Co. Events: Cara and Nate were married last year right after Christmas in a family affair that kept the holiday spirit alive during the cold month of January. Cara spun details that were classic and lush from the rich holly greens and vibrant red hues, to the matchbox car escort cars to showoff their love of travel.Cara and Nate were married at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in a beautiful ceremony with lush evergreens and gold accents that still adorned the sanctuary from Christmas. Holly Chapple provided a beautiful lush bouquet with trailing ribbons to accompany the current holiday decor that was still in place at the church.

After the ceremony the couple ventured into Historic Washington D.C for photos in front of the National Monuments and local DC favorite locations. The party continued on at the National Museum for Women in the Arts. Cocktail hour overlooked the museum and guests were able to take a tour of all the fabulous works of art. Escort cards were attached to Matchbox cars to show off the couples love of traveling. The reception had a very rich texture to it with multiple styles of linens in rich red and gold tones paired with golden accents in the place settings and paper goods.  Guests dined on a 4 course dinner topped off with a dessert bar at the end of the night with fresh pastries, cannoli’s, and chocolates.
