Floral notes:

Theme and style was garden romance. The bride, being a stylist herself, knew exactly what she wanted and trusted her vendors to execute their wonderful day. She is obsessed with dreamy lighting and wanted a film photographer that used ethereal light so we connected her to Ashley Kelemen who does amazing work as a film photographer. Little did we know that after all of this, the three of us would be great friends and now Ashley also shoots for Allison’s fashion line. Being a fashion designer, textiles were important to her and she brought in custom linens for the tables as well as event staff aprons. She wanted rust tones but also soft pink romantic hues throughout her blooms.

The arrangements were comprised of wispy and textural greens, such as jasmine vine, white pieris japonica, seeded Eucalyptus, white veronica, and blush astilbe to achieve the garden and natural feel of their event while we incorporated queen anne’s lace and vintage green speckled hydrangea to play on the antique elegance. These were then complemented by feminine blush Juliet garden roses, Sarah Bernhardt Peonies (rare that time of year), and cafe au lait dahlias as well as fluffy coral ranunculus and blooming poppies.
