Jess’s clients know her for using her lens to catch their authentic instances and emotions during life’s most beautiful moments. Since 2008, her eye for the organic has been pivotal in building her business, as has her at-ease approach with her clientele. Jess draws inspiration from natural elements and sensations– water, light, motion, genuine romance and intimate emotions – to create dreamy photographs that reflect the essence of her clients’ experiences.
From the time she was a little girl playing with her photojournalist father’s camera until her husband put a SLR into her hands, photography has been a crucial part of Jess’ life. With more than 100 weddings now behind her, she still maintains a passion for creating meaningful relationships with her clients that last long after the wedding day. On the concept of organic photography, Jess explains: “I want to portray people being who they are, reflecting how they feel, doing what they love,” she says.“To me that is true, organic beauty. Simple, natural, and real.”
