Drop everything and prepare to be amazed by this one-of-a-kind, colorful wedding inspiration! Beloved Mexican creative artist and feminist Frida Kalo is the bridal inspiration behind this shoot styled and designed by Anna Fern Weddings, and it’s based on her most famous painting Las Dos Fridas (The Two Fridas), which depicts an expressive double self-portrait symbolizing contrasting entities. Her bold fashion lead this amazing vendor team to create an epic European bridal look, captured by the lens of Roberta Facchini Photography. Joanne Fleming‘s vibrant Frida dress inspired this two-part concept and story by Elizabeth of Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium. With a color palette of white, cream, pink, peach and hints of gold and grey, our eyes are immediately drawn to the fabulous overhanging tree canopy featuring different hues of blush roses and ranunculi, orchids, hydrangeas, roses, Icelandic poppies and lilacs, designed by Wild About. The stunning modern decor includes a combination of geometrical and modern vases, with white ceramic cacti and crystal candlesticks, topped with handmade blush and grey ombre’ candlesticks. Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium mastered a trio of cakes for the shoot, with watercolors, gold leaves and bold florals. This artistic wedding inspiration mixes old world romance and modern luxury, all in the perfect light and airy space at the Horniman Museum and Gardens.
