Every wedding I help plan I try to find a way to personalize the wedding to the couple in some special and meaningful way. As I plan a lot of weddings in wine country, food and wine tends to be a common thread. One suggestion to one of my “foodie” couples was to send recipe cards as their RSVPs to their guests in their invitation suite. Each guest replies to the invite with a special family recipe to pass on to the couple. In the end, the couple has recipes from their friends and family to compile in their very own family cookbook as they start their life together. At the dinner reception, the place cards at each place setting can also be a special recipe the couple would like to share of their own in return.
Think of ways to make your wedding a reflection of the two of you by personalizing it with bits of the things you love that you would like to share.
